Pursuing:  Further education in Nutrition as well as accomplishing a century ride (Reach the Beach), Bachelors in Hospitality Management, Certified Personal Trainer,  ACE (American Council on Exercise), Lagree instructor  

Training Style: I train with a strong emphasis on sustainability and balance, helping people rewire their brains in how to move correctly and in ways that will support them being able to exercise for the rest of their lives. Incorporating agility, circuit training, heart rate training, pilates, strength, mobility, flexibility, and dynamic athletic movement. Adapting to all ages and fitness levels, while being aware and sensitive to people's previous injuries, mobility, and potential trauma they have had in relation to movement.

Why I became a Fitpro:  After several years playing team sports (mostly swimming) and learning new and different ways of exercising, I had spent a lot of time in physical therapy recovering from various injuries.  The most notable of which was in 2016 when I was involved in a motorcycle accident which left me with many injuries including a broken pelvis.  After learning how to walk again, I decided I wanted to switch my career path from working in hotels to helping people create healthy movement patterns in their lives.  When I moved to Portland in 2018, I got my first job in the industry and realized it was the missing piece in my career goals.  I began learning and teaching as many different styles of fitness as I could pursue including kickboxing, lagree, HIIT, circuit training, and rowing.  I enjoy connecting with people more than anything and helping folks unlock a new level of potential is part of my “why”.  Currently I aim to further my knowledge within other realms of wellness including nutrition and primal movement.   I believe exercise is accessible to everyone and that’s what I bring to my classes and clients in order to help people create their own healthy habits within their lives.
